MURPHY NEEL BUILDING, ONGOING RESTORATION

As part of the John Good Agency, Inc. project, we also designed and built the tenant improvements in the Landmark Building as the temporary home for the business while construction was underway at their new site.  This historic building is one of Fort Benton’s earliest and has a colorful and varied past.  Demolition of the interior revealed a variety of old and historical finishes; a palimpsest of the tastes of successive users. 

We worked to stabilize the historical finishes and to highlight them as decorative features in the building by using as light a touch as possible with our interventions.
