This project provides the city with new police department facilities, created new city offices, remodelled the council chambers, and made accommodation for the mayor and city judge, which had not been afforded previously.  It also brought the building up to current energy code standards and provided a new storefront for the building. 

This project was awarded a Department of Environmental Quality ARRA grant in excess of $160,000 to offset the costs associated with weatherization and insulation for the building.
